"Ithaca Is Gorges" is a famous local advertizing slogan that says it all. Located right in the heart of the Finger Lakes region  in Upstate New York, Ithaca is blessed with fabulous local scenery, including many beautiful gorges with countless waterfalls cascading in to gleaming Cayuga Lake.

The area's spectacular and unique geology defines so much about the region.

You can hike at the Buttermilk Falls, Taughannock Falls, Robert Treman, and Fall Creek for starters.

While you're in town, take a visit to our lovely downtown, "The Commons."
